Dr. Claude Brunson Appointed to KONZA National Network’s Board of Directors
Today, KONZA National Network announced the appointment of Claude Brunson, MD as the newest member to their Board of Directors. As the Executive Director of the Mississippi State Medical Association, Brunson brings to KONZA decades of medical expertise, strategy and leadership experience.
Before overseeing the Mississippi State Medical Association, Brunson led the External Affairs Division for the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), building strategic and collaborative partnerships with the medical community.
“We are delighted that Dr. Brunson is joining KONZA’s Board. He has been instrumental in building HIE participation with Mississippi Health Access Exchange (MHAX), which is powered by KONZA,” said Jerry Slaughter, Chair of KONZA’s Board and Senior Executive Advisor to the Kansas Medical Society. “His drive to improve interoperability combined with his expertise in cultivating partnerships will be beneficial as we continue to grow our interoperability strategy.”
